News-Leader.com | Business | Flight attendants union OKs strike

News-Leader.com | Business | Flight attendants union OKs strike

Oh my f**kin god it is a national emergency, what are we going to do. Can you imagine what the flights would be like without flight attendants? How would you find the exit to the plane without the attendant telling you before take off and survive three hours without the pretzels they give you. I think airline companies should eliminate flight attendants and put up soda machines. The octogenarians say that the stewardesses used to be good looking but the stewardess in the last plane almost made me turn gay. I have always felt that the attendants had a certain sense of smugness when they interacted with people. I don't discourage smugness but you have to have the right job for it. A waiter/waitress in air does not fit the profile. Ever since 9/11 the attendants have gained immense authority even to the point that John Ashcroft felt it was bad. Can you imagine a waitress at Denny's deciding who a terrorist and who is not? Anyways I think flight attendants are over paid and the job is over rated, hence they should peace out.
(Sponsored by the waiters union of Blimpie's, NW Detroit. This was in good humor and I have immense respect for the flight attendants)

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Demand to probe cleric's arrest

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Demand to probe cleric's arrest

This is a wonderful reflection of Indian secularism. I understand that this is an unfortunate event but there were rumors in the recent past that India was becoming a radical Hindu country and this is a depiction that Democracy is thriving in India. The funniest part is Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were the first countries to comment on the Gujarat incident and express their disappointment. They are not entitled to comment on other countries with reference to secularism but this should be a good rebuttal. Once again I want to reiterate that law should supersede religion and religion cannot be the law.

MSNBC - Who will win The Apprentice?

MSNBC - Who will win The Apprentice?

I'm so sick of the reality shows and the most surprising aspect is respected people like Branson are getting into it. I can understand that Trump wants to be on prime time TV and he will be for his bad acting along with his mop on the top of his head. What saddens me is that well educated people are willing to sacrifice their self respect to be on TV or may be getting this job. I have a lot of faith in the American TV audience and they will reject such mockery on TV. The only way this show can work is if it features on Jack Ass or on C-Span 2. Well there is a use for this show, we can use as a torture tool against the detainees at Guantanamo Bay. You must be wondering "How does this guy know so much about the show", well I have seen the "survivor" and was bored in spite of half naked women in the wild. My plea to TV audience is to voice their opinion against this assault on sanity.
