BBC NEWS | South Asia | Demand to probe cleric's arrest

This is a wonderful reflection of Indian secularism. I understand that this is an unfortunate event but there were rumors in the recent past that India was becoming a radical Hindu country and this is a depiction that Democracy is thriving in India. The funniest part is Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were the first countries to comment on the Gujarat incident and express their disappointment. They are not entitled to comment on other countries with reference to secularism but this should be a good rebuttal. Once again I want to reiterate that law should supersede religion and religion cannot be the law.

MATTER OF SEMANTICS< Secularism to most right winger in US means something else,...... the word secularism is a dirty word currently in US. A little more research on this topic will further clarify your understanding of the word SECULAR.
